Offsite Performance at The Back Room, Berkeley

Celebrate the culmination of a week of intensive music-making with the students and faculty of the Jazzschool’s Advanced High School Jazz Intensive.

After five days of rehearsals, masterclasses, private lessons, and ensemble coaching, these outstanding young musicians take the stage alongside an acclaimed faculty of Bay Area jazz artists for an evening of dynamic small-group performances.

Led by acclaimed saxophonist Michael Zilber, the faculty includes Peter Horvath (piano), Dan Feiszli (bass), and Jason Lewis (drums). Together with the students, they’ll present a program that showcases the creativity, collaboration, and musical growth developed throughout the week.

This special performance is presented at The Back Room in Berkeley.
